The Peugeot 407 is a family car manufactured by the French auto-giant Peugeot since 2004 and is the successor of the Peugeot 406. With the introduction of the 407, Peugeot aims to reclaim dominance in the upper-medium sector of the new car market. Since its launch, the 407 saloon has become a benchmark in its segment owing to its excellent road holding. It also brought a touch of style into a segment based on traditional yet conventional saloon, engineered with just practicality and volume in mind.
The Peugeot 407 comes in four and six-cylinder engines featuring state-of-the-art technology, especially on the HDi variants. These include a refined 2.0-liter HDi engine attached to a 6-speed manual gearbox which generates a power of 103 kW. It also boasts of a fuel consumption of 5.6 liters/ 100km.
The 407’s subtle refinements now offer more in terms of elegance and exceptional quality, both internally and externally. The 407 also features enhanced comfort equipments such as the onboard temperature control, front parking assistance and a new telematics system.
