The Hyundai iLoad, as it is called in Australia is a huge people mover with a strong engine, reliable and has an excellent service back-up throughout the country. Hyundai Motors definitely did a lot of work on this people carrier as it has a strikingly different look which sets it apart from other vans in its class.

The iLoad is powered by a gutsy 2.4 liter petrol engine that is more than able of hurling this behemoth along at 185 km/h. The engine is connected to a standard five speed manual gearbox. The other engine variant is the authoritative 2.5 CRDi turbo-diesel.  This engine is capable of generating an astounding 392 Nm of torque at 2,000 to 2,500 rpm. The diesel motor is highly fuel efficient and provides more than enough power for hauling large and heavy loads.

The Hyundai iLoad is remarkably practical, especially with the huge doors that slide open on both sides of the van, allowing easy access into the rear sections of the vehicle. The rear door swivels vertically, leaving a gaping wide and easily accessible loading compartment at the rear of the vehicle. With the seats folded, the iLoad’s luggage capacity drastically increases to gobble as much as 5.2 cubic meters of cargo. But when all the seats are up, the Hyundai iLoad will seat 8 passengers in absolute comfort.
